‘Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer’

I have wept at my computer. I have said the Our Father sitting at my desk. I am no holy roller—I hadn’t prayed in years—but at times when I was confronted with the worst of this story I didn’t know what else to do. Full Article

‘Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer’

I have had a profound sense of the presence of evil in the actions of Gosnell and his staff and their complete lack of conscience. Most disturbing of all is the banality of the evil; in the clinic they joked and laughed amidst the carnage. This story can change hearts and minds; it has mine.

The jurors had to listen to the stories of the lives and deaths of Baby Boy A Abrams (29.4 weeks), whose photograph is on the Internet; Baby Boy B (twenty-eight weeks), whose frozen remains were found in the clinic—the medical examiner’s photograph of him with his neck slit is online—Baby C, who breathed for twenty minutes before Lynda Williams “snipped” his life; Baby D, who was delivered in a toilet and tried to swim to safety before Adrienne Moton slit his windpipe; Baby E, who cried before Dr. Gosnell cut his neck; and Baby F, who moved his leg up to his chest before he was killed. They saw pictures of the forty-seven dead babies discovered at the clinic the night of the raid, their remains stuffed into old milk cartons and kitty litter containers.

These babies sent Gosnell to prison. But more than that, they are the most eloquent evidence we have ever had of the reality of abortion.

Would Jesus Just Decorate the Gay Wedding?

Two weeks ago, the WA State Supreme Court handed down a ruling saying that florist Barronelle Stutzman broke the law when she refused to work at a gay wedding.  Full Article

Though she had sold them flowers many times before, Mrs. Stutzman declined to work the wedding ceremony for the gay couple, and encouraged them to buy from one of her competitors that didn’t share her convictions.

Florist Barronelle Stutzman, Gay Marriage

She essentially asked herself, “How can I participate in an event that is celebrating something that contradicts God’s design?” Based on everything I can find in the Bible, God recognizes only one relationship as marriage. And to call something marriage, when God says it’s not….well, it’s easy to see why a Christian would decline to participate in that ceremony.

Our first commandment is to love God. We might tell Him, “I know what Your design for marriage is, but I really want it to be something else.” But to do so is unloving. It is unloving toward God when we don’t respect, or try to alter what He has designed. Those that say not going to the ceremony is unloving may be forgetting the order of the two great commandments. Again, our first commandment is to love God.

There are many valuable relationships in life. Parents with children, grandparents and grandchildren, friends, co-workers, teammates and yes, same-sex relationships. God has given us a wide diversity of wonderful relationships. Only one is marriage, but there are many others besides.

Is Tony the Tiger going Political?

Kellogg Co. is pulling its ads from the website Breitbart News, “to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that aren’t aligned with our values as a company,” said Kris Charles, a spokeswoman for Kellogg.

In response, Breitbart Editor-In-Chief Alexander Marlow issued a statement encouraging Breitbart’s 45 million monthly readers to boycott Kellogg’s products.

Is Tony the Tiger Supporting the Gay Lifestyle?

“For Kellogg’s, an American brand, to blacklist Breitbart News in order to placate left-wing totalitarians is a disgraceful act of cowardice,” Marlow said on Breitbart.com. “They insult our incredibly diverse staff and spit in the face of our 45,000,000 highly engaged, highly perceptive, highly loyal readers, many of whom are Kellogg’s customers.”

As of Thursday morning, over 100,000 people had signed a petition pledging to join Breitbart’s “movement against Kellogg’s bigotry.”   On social media, many used the hashtag #BoycottKelloggs to support the news organization, while others slammed it.

Not all brands are shying away. With a Nissan ad on the website, the automaker said in a statement that it “places ads in a variety of sites in order to reach as many consumers as possible.”

(She currently identifies as a boy named “Mack” Beggs and is referred to as “he” in a relevant article about her.) Pro-life Groups Mourn Norma McCorvey’s Death!

Norma McCorvey, who first became known as “Jane Roe” in the infamous abortion case Roe v. Wade, became a pro-life champion as she dedicated her life to overturning the Supreme Court’s disastrous decision in Roe v. Wade, the 1970 abortion case filed on her behalf to overturn the nation’s abortion laws. Supporting Article

We always note that the pro-life cause is a movement of converts — and there are few conversions that were so surprising as that of Norma McCorvey, who died today at the age of 69. Norma McCorvey was the woman at the center of Roe v. Wade, the case that made abortion legal in the United States. She was “Roe” — the anonymous woman who sued the state of Texas, which would not permit her to have an abortion.

Following the infamous Supreme Court ruling in her case, she lived a troubled life and ended up in the abortion industry. But it was while she was working at an abortion center that she experienced her conversion. Not only did she become a Christian, but she rejected abortion advocacy and became pro-life. Forced Death Cases: Life Legal Fighting to Save Lives

Last week we heard from the girlfriend of a 31-year-old man who suffered lack of oxygen after a heart attack. Full Article

Just 24 hours after the incident, the hospital met with the family and pressured them to donate the young man’s organs. When the family objected, wanting to give their loved one more time to recover, the hospital told them their decision was “selfish.”

Since then, the young man has become increasingly responsive. His CAT scan and EEG clearly show brain activity. When the hospital discusses his “quality of life” and terminating his care—i.e., starving and dehydrating him to death—the man becomes agitated.

We are fighting to make sure he continues to receive appropriate care, including food and water.

South Dakota declares pornography a public health

South Dakota declares pornography a public health crisis

Did you hear the incredible news? The resolution declaring a pornography a public health crisis passed the South Dakota House 65-0 and passed South Dakota Senate on a 35-0 vote!

This means that South Dakota is the second state in the United States to formally recognize the public health crisis of pornography, following Utah’s unanimous adoption of the same resolution last year.

But wait, that’s not all—earlier this year the Canadian parliament passed a similar motion to conduct a large-scale study on the public health harms of pornography.

There is so much positive momentum in this movement! The public is speaking out about the way pornography damages their lives, and elected officials are starting to listen.

Pornography is a public health crisis due to its vast harms for individuals and society as a whole. You can learn more about the research on our public health pageREAD MORE

And media coverage is heating up!  Find your Saturday event here: http://defundplannedparenthood.com
These gatherings will point out things that many people don’t understand about Planned Parenthood. Here are just a few:
• Planned Parenthood is not about “health care”; abortion is its primary business — nearly 324,000 every year
• Planned Parenthood’s practices are the subject of numerous investigations
• Planned Parenthood gets half a billion dollars in your tax money every year — money that could be used to provide genuine health care at community-based providers in your area.

Supporting Article1, Supporting Article2, Life may be winning in America, but it has not yet won. And it won’t ever win so long as the United States Congress permits a dime of taxpayer money to flow to the abortion giant Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood is focused on abortion, not health care.

Let’s set the record straight: Planned Parenthood is focused on abortion, not health care. Women deserve real options. #DefundPP

Since the release of Live Action’s investigative video exposing the lack of care Planned Parenthood gives to pregnant women who want to keep their children, Planned Parenthood has been busy purging their websites of the term “prenatal.” Despite years of claiming that Planned Parenthood offers prenatal care to women, the backlash from Live Action’s investigation which exposed Planned Parenthood’s deception was so egregious that the abortion corporation had to back track — and fast.

Unfortunately, concerns have been continuing to surface over the content within some of these programs, particularly within Girl Scouts.

Pastors may determine if they want to continue offering Girl Scouts or substitute a different program that better meets the needs of a Catholic parish.

There is no mandate for any parish to “cut-ties” with Girl Scouts.
