Safety and the Politics of Bathrooms!

“Stop being afraid.” That was the message from the Senators who voted against a bill that would have repealed the Human Right’s Commissions open bathroom mandate yesterday afternoon in Olympia Washington.  (fpiw.org/blog/2016/02/11) Because gender identity and gender expression are completely subjective concepts, the state has made it possible for anyone to access any gender specific area by declaring themselves to be qualified irrespective of their anatomical realities.

The Family Policy Institute of Washington asks Seattle residents if there are any limits to the way someone can self-identify.

I already wrote senators and did all that I could.  I wish that these heartless legislators who said for people to “stop being afraid” could understand what it is like to be raped, and understand that people with PTSD cannot just ‘stop being afraid’.  When naked men are allowed to be in the stall next to women as they undress or they emerge from the gym shower with their naked penis in full view, for the women and children undressing, it is SHOCKING and TERRIFYING. Archbishop “seamless garment” Approach Misleads People!

Los Angeles, Calif., Feb 4, 2016 / 06:22 am (CNA/EWTN News).- Efforts to combat social injustice cannot forget that the right to life is foundational, Archbishop Jose H. Gomez of Los Angeles said at a Hispanic pro-life gathering last week. Pro-life questions are not just one issue among many, the archbishop said, criticizing the effects of a “seamless garment” approach advocated by some Catholics, or what is sometimes called “a consistent ethic of life.” These views mislead people in practice, he said, and result in “a mistaken idea that all issues are morally equivalent.”  catholicnewsagency.com/news/archbishop-Gomez

“So in everything we need to be clear that the root violence in our society is the violence against those who are not yet born and those who are at the end of their lives,” the archbishop said.

The archbishop said the pro-life movement’s vision is “spiritual, not political.” This means it does not make sense for pro-life efforts to be separate from social justice efforts.

“The cause of life is greater than the limitations of our political categories. We want a new culture, not a new political coalition.” For Archbishop Gomez, the pro-life movement’s future is in culture, not politics.

Super Bowl Ad Humanizes Unborn Child

A pro-choice group kicked off a corn chip controversy Sunday night when it mocked a Doritos commercial as being “anti-choice” for using the “tactic of humanizing fetuses.” http://www.foxnews.com

SANTA CLARA, CA, February 8, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Doritos thought a commercial featuring an unborn child reaching out for a chip was a cute marketing technique. NARAL Pro-Choice America and one of its affiliates thought it was “sexist” and unconscionable. The abortion trade group is facing international backlash for bashing Super Bowl commercials that portray babies – born or unborn – in a positive light.

In the ad, a pregnant woman is getting a routine ultrasound while her disinterested husband noshes on Doritos chips. The ultrasound monitor shows the baby reaching for the nacho until the mom throws it across the room, prompting it to initiate an early evacuation from the womb. http://news.yahoo.com

I started Movement for a Better America 20 years ago because I saw a period of economic decline ahead based on my research into the economic impact of abortion. I was the only forecaster to get that right — right down to the dates, starting in the year 2000 and continuing through 2010 and probably 2020.

Now here we are 20 years later in still another election cycle, and things have only gotten worse. The abortion toll has climbed from 35 million to a stunning 59 million by this year’s March for Life. And the cumulative cost in lost GDP has climbed to $58.4 trillion dollars – or roughly three times our national debt.

Now, brand new research confirms that abortion has gone beyond being just a moral, social and economic issue, and now threatens the future existence of our great country. That makes it a major national security issue.

We have reached the point when Americans have to radically reject abortion or accept the inevitability that it is all over for America.

Why this new sense of urgency?  

Our latest research indicates we have reached a stage where the “echo effect” of those 59 million abortions is dramatically reducing current and future birth rates. We have begun a new demographic free fall that may be impossible to reverse.

Key fact: Since they are no longer around, those 59 million we aborted cannot contribute to our next new generation. Indeed, the number of U.S. births has been dropping by 1.7% a year since 2007. And that effect will echo down the centuries.

I discovered this earlier in the Black community in New York where births dropped by 50% in the 20 years between 1990 and 2010 because of higher abortion rates among blacks. Now that same effect is being confirmed nationally.

Thanks to abortion on demand, America has begun a population free fall that has huge implications for everything from the economy to national security.

It directly affects national security because the Muslim world, unlike Europe, Russia, China, Japan, and the United States continues to grow at 1.9% a year across 30 leading Muslim countries.

That means the Muslim population of the world will very likely double by 2050 and could make up half the population of the world by 2085. This year it will increase by an estimated 300 million – or close to the entire population of the United States.

Meanwhile, Europe, Russia, China, Japan and the United States will be shrinking. These are the countries that bought the abortion kool-aid sold by the anti-people activists. Based on its faith, the Muslim world didn’t.

Moreover, the Muslim world has plenty of time to catch up with us technically, economically and militarily. The deal President Obama just made with Iran on nuclear energy guarantees that they won’t be standing still in any of those areas.

In short, while we get weaker and weaker economically and demographically, they’ll have the bull by the horns.

That’s why all Americans, but especially our younger generation, need to wake up right now to the threat that the left has been creating for us by pushing the Negative Population Growth ideology, while the Muslim world multiplies.

By 2050, the Muslim world may not even need nuclear weapons to defeat us. They can infiltrate, propagate, and proliferate, and before America even notices, we could all be living under Sharia Law – and have to face the usual fate for infidels.

In short, if we want to stop our population free fall, we urgently need a rude awakening about abortion. That’s why we need your help to create such an awakening.

  • Every candidate for President needs to hear about it.
  • So do our Senators and members of Congress.
  • Every bishop, priest and pastor in our churches need to hear this.
  • Leaders in business and the professions need to hear it.
  • So do leaders in television, talk radio, the internet, and the press.
  • Members of Gen X, Y and Z all need to hear it.
  • Finally, we need to rally the whole pro-life movement around this.

To get the word out, I am personally willing to speak wherever I can on this topic. I plan to renew my talk radio campaign where I can reach the public with this message through a dozen radio interviews each month. We need press kits for the media and printed presentations for key leaders in Congress, the churches, and business. Plus videos to reach out to young people via social media and the internet.

I am also hard at work on a blockbuster book on this theme that I expect to have available by mid-year. It is based on all the research, experience and insights we have had on this issue over the last 20 years. The March for Life DC Wasn’t a “Small Crowd”!

Hey Mainstream Media, the March for Life wasn’t a “small crowd”! And for it being in the dead of winter, I’d say it was a large crowd. It’s like the first Tea Party march. Hardly any mention of the march and when they did, couldn’t say it was near a million people.

Pro-aborts Vicious New Attacks on David Daleiden

Reeling from a year of unparalleled bad press—all because of video revelations made by David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress—Planned Parenthood and its allies have started dangerous new actions designed to destroy the messenger . . . .

In Houston, Texas, a grand jury investigating PP’s illegal trade in baby body parts did an unbelievable somersault and indicted David Daleiden instead! The grand jury even indicted him for the crime that Planned Parenthood is committing—trading in body parts!

Ghost Abortions – The Cost of Abortion is too High to Count!

Today is the 43rd anniversary of the Supreme Court’s diabolical Roe v. Wade ruling. We’d like to present this different way of looking at this most somber of memorials.

From 1990 and back to 1973, 12,700,000 female babies were aborted. Had they not been aborted, they would have on average each given birth themselves by now to their own child. These “never were conceived” children would have today been part of the total U.S. population, so they must be counted as missing.

These are called “ghost” numbers, or ghost abortions — people who can never be considered because their mothers were not allowed to be born. But in any accounting of the total effects of abortion, of course they must be included.

So when you add the total number of Americans directly killed by abortion since 1973 — almost 58 million — to the total who are not here because of abortion indirectly, the impact on the American population is 70 million fewer Americans because of abortion.

Now take that number and plug it into an economic variable called the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita. That number takes the total worth of a country and divides it by the total population to place a dollar equivalent on each person: How much economic activity does each person produce and consume?

It includes everything — houses, cars, appliances, movies, manufacturing, everything — every single dollar in the economy. When you divide the total wealth of America by its current population, you get a GDP per capita of about $54,000 — which means that the total contribution of each American to the overall economy is calculated by the United States government at $54,000.

Now when you marry up that number with the total number of Americans not in the economy owing to abortion — which is not just 58 million, but rather 70 million — the economic impact is near beyond comprehension.

70 million people times $54,000 is just a couple hundred billion dollars shy of $4 trillion.

$4 trillion missing from the US economy because of abortion. Obviously we aren’t boiling this diabolical evil down to just money, but in all the horrible ways abortion affects the culture, this is one that gets little attention.

Archbishop Rebukes Pelosi for Pro-Abortion Views!

SAN FRANCISCO, California, January 14, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s claim that her pro-abortion agenda is compatible with the Catholic faith represents a “fundamental misconception” of church teaching, according to Archbishop George H. Niederauer of San Francisco, the Speaker’s bishop.

Archbishop Niederauer confronted the Speaker’s controversial remarks in a column in the Catholic San Francisco newspaper Wednesday.

Discussing her conflict with U.S. bishops on abortion and homosexuality in a December Newsweek interview, Pelosi claimed that restricting abortion amounts to a violation of a woman’s free will, and is thus inconsistent with her Catholic faith.

“I am a practicing Catholic, although they’re probably not too happy about that. But it is my faith,” said the Speaker, referring to the Catholic Church hierarchy.  “I practically mourn this difference of opinion because I feel what I was raised to believe is consistent with what I profess, and that is that we are all endowed with, a free will and a responsibility to answer for our actions. And that women should have that opportunity to exercise their free will.”

In response, Niederauer said that “embodied in that statement are some fundamental misconceptions about Catholic teaching on human freedom” – misconceptions he noted “are widespread both within the Catholic community and beyond.”

“Human freedom does not legitimate bad moral choices, nor does it justify a stance that all moral choices are good if they are free: ‘The exercise of freedom does not imply a right to say or do everything,'” wrote the archbishop, citing the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

“It is entirely incompatible with Catholic teaching to conclude that our freedom of will justifies choices that are radically contrary to the Gospel — racism, infidelity, abortion, theft,” he continued.

“Freedom of will is the capacity to act with moral responsibility; it is not the ability to determine arbitrarily what constitutes moral right.”

“While we deeply respect the freedom of our fellow citizens,” Niederauer concluded, “we nevertheless are profoundly convinced that free will cannot be cited as justification for society to allow moral choices that strike at the most fundamental rights of others. Such a choice is abortion, which constitutes the taking of innocent human life, and cannot be justified by any Catholic notion of freedom.”
