On the Saturday of Mothers’ Day weekend we hold our Hike for Life event. This family-friendly fundraiser is held at Heron Creek Forest Preserve. The event begins with a brief presentation of our ministry and a light breakfast is served. Hikers then follow a marked route of roughly three miles to complete the hike, and prizes donated by our generous sponsors and supporters are awarded to the top fundraisers.
