The National Right to Life Committee sponsors the the National Pro Life Oratory Contest March to July. The National Right to Life Jane B. Thompson Oratory Contest strives to promote the ability of high school juniors and seniors to share their pro-life views with others. Although speaking ability is important, this contest also seeks to help teens organize and express their pro-life views. We also strive to give the contestants an opportunity to meet other pro-life teens. The National Right to Life Jane B. Thompson Oratory Contest is held each year in conjunction with the National Right to Life Convention. High school juniors and seniors write and present original pro-life speeches. Contests are sponsored by many state right to life groups, and the winners of the state contests compete at the national level.
